Liu also highlighted a recent success of the alarm system on Lei Yu Shan Road. "A thief was attempting to steal the cable when the alarm was triggered. Our staff received the alert on their phones and arrived at the scene in time. When they saw the patrol car, the thieves fled," he said. In addition to the technological measures, the City Street Lamp Management Office has taken further steps to enhance security.
