Nantong Coal Mine, part of Nantong Mining Company under the Heavy Coal Group, has developed an in-house mixer drum cleaning device designed specifically for the bottom of the mine cars. This innovative equipment is used to remove solidified and hardened debris that accumulates when the mine car is unloaded with coal and vermiculite. The device features a bucket bottom debris sweeper that rotates 180 degrees within the cage, allowing a pneumatic tool to be positioned in the groove at the bottom of the mine car. The tool can extend, contract, and vibrate freely, effectively removing deposits and ensuring a clean interior. This new system has significantly improved the efficiency of the cleaning process. By implementing this device, the mine has eliminated the need for manual excavation of coal and debris from the bottom of the mine cars, which was previously a labor-intensive and time-consuming task. As a result, the mine has reduced both manpower requirements and operational costs, while also improving safety and working conditions for the staff. The successful application of this technology marks a major step forward in modernizing coal mine operations and enhancing overall productivity.
