And then there’s 6-5-T, which is our trusty training rig for the pit—it’s an old 1988 Oshkosh T-3000 crash rig. Also worth noting, 2-9-8 is the current training officer for ORD, and 2-9-12 is handling the coordination for our live fire simulators. On another note, Lockport Rescue 6 was prepping to tackle a fire simulation in the Pit, while Orland Engine 8 (a reserve unit) was pumping handlines for both the Pit and the Wheel/Brake/Interior simulator.
