The 1,700-ton-meter railway crane group is a key subject for the former Ministry of Railways' 2007 scientific and technological research and development program. After the technical plan passed the review and completed the technical design, Qiqihar Vehicle Co., Ltd. began trial production and related test work in 2013. So far, the vehicle has completed all major tests and parameter tests such as static strength, dynamics, curve leveling, and double rotation. The test results show that the lifting moment of the car has exceeded the domestic and foreign cranes of the same type, and the technical level has reached the international advanced level.
