In the first five months, the customs imported a total of 438,000 vehicles, down 22.3% year-on-year; the cumulative sales of imported cars fell 21.2% year-on-year. The report also pointed out that the downward pressure on demand in the imported auto market in the second half of 2015 is still relatively large, and the market situation is difficult to stabilize and will continue to deteriorate.
The report pointed out that in the first five months, the customs imported a total of 438,000 vehicles, down 22.3% year-on-year; the cumulative sales of imported cars fell by 21.2% year-on-year. From January to May, the dealers delivered 379,800 imported cars, a year-on-year negative growth of 21.2%; the imported car market in the first five months was 511,000, down 9.1% year-on-year (the difference between delivery and card-based volume is mainly due to different statistical calibers, among which The vehicle sales data does not include parallel imported automobile market data, and the timeliness is the current month's data; the number of cards on the market includes parallel imported car sales, and the timeliness is generally delayed by 1-2 months).
In terms of brands, in the first half of 2015, among the top 10 brands in terms of imports, except for Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, other brands all declined, with Land Rover, Volkswagen, Audi and Renault all falling more than 40%. From the perspective of actual sales, with the scale of the market shrinking and the market adjustment deepening, the competition in the imported automobile market is intensifying, and the competition pattern of the imported car industry has changed a lot: BMW and Mercedes-Benz are in the top two, and the second group is highly competitive. The report also pointed out that the downward pressure on demand in the imported auto market in the second half of 2015 is still relatively large, and the market situation is difficult to stabilize and will continue to deteriorate. At the same time, as the restructuring of the industry continues to deepen, the industry is facing more severe pressure for change.
