Metal antimony and antimony compounds are widely used in the production of wear-resistant alloys, various flame retardants, enamel, glass, rubber, paint, pigment, ceramics or the like. The main bismuth-containing sulphide mineral is strontium ore (Sb2S3), which is commonly used for flotation recovery.
