Huntsman plans to build 21,000 tpa TPU project in Shanghai

On November 21, Huntsman Group announced that its Polyurethane Business Unit will invest in a new 21,000-tonne thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) production plant in Shanghai Jinshan Fine Chemical Industry Park.

The new production plant is expected to be operational in mid-2013 and will form a global Huntsman TPU production network with TPU production facilities in Europe and the United States.
