Experts believe that the special polypropylene resin product developed and produced in this project has successfully filled the blank of domestic high-end automotive special materials. Its technical performance has reached the international advanced level and can effectively meet the application needs of the domestic automotive industry. The market prospect is very broad.

Researchers have developed and produced a series of low-to-high polypropylene internal-compressor alloys by improving and optimizing the catalyst system, selecting suitable additives, optimizing the polymerization process, balancing the ethylene content, and adding nano-composite nucleating agents. Resin products. And in the existing 200,000 tons / year of gas phase polypropylene device on the K9015 and YPJ-1215C two grades of special resin industrial production. Compared with the traditional modified polypropylene, the new product has the advantages of low cost, low energy consumption, and stable quality under the premise of meeting the requirements of customers. The performance has reached the international advanced level and can replace imported products.

Among them, Yangzi Petrochemical successfully developed bumper materials for Hainan Mazda, Peugeot 307 and other models with K9015 as the main base material, as well as Peugeot 307 weatherproof and coloring masterbatches. YPJ-1215C products have been successfully applied in bumper production of Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Hainan Mazda, Mark 307, Tianjin Xiali, Anhui Jianghuai and Chery.

Automotive plasticization is one of the important signs of the technical level of a country's automotive industry. However, due to the limitations of catalysts and polymerization processes, the production capacity of automotive special materials for domestic polypropylene companies is insufficient, and continuous production is very difficult. This kind of catalyst has weak copolymerization ability and is affected by the ethylene concentration in raw materials. Impact and production process constraints, it is difficult to produce high-performance automotive special materials products. To this end, starting in 2008, Yangzi Petrochemical and Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry began the development and industrial application research of polypropylene inside the kettle.
