Since 2003, in order to rectify the waste of resources caused by the processing of rubble in the dolomite mine, the Liaoning Provincial Department of Land and Resources has closed all the dolomite fields. As a result, these eight companies have lost the advantage of buying dolomite raw materials locally. They are looking for a long way to purchase dolomite from abroad. Since the winter in 2005, these eight borax producers have faced the dilemma of stopping production.
In order to solve the problem of raw materials for boron chemical companies, the Dashiqiao City Boron Industry Association and Dashiqiao Municipal Government have repeatedly reported to the land and resources departments of Liaoning Province and Yingkou City, and proposed scientific and reasonable solutions. The Liaoning Provincial Department of Land and Resources attached great importance to this and after full investigation and demonstration, it made a decision to support the production of boron chemicals in Dashiqiao City. While further regulating local quarrying practices, they specifically launched a dolomite field for these 8 borax production companies and issued a quarrying approval certificate for Dashiqiao Xinwang Building Materials Factory. Boride producers provide Dolomite raw materials.
It is reported that this move not only ensures that 8 boride production enterprises use dolomite to produce borax, but also that borax enterprises can sell calcined dolomite lime to Angang and other steel production companies, which has obvious economic and social benefits.
Recently, a paper approved by Liaoning Provincial Department of Land and Resources resolved the purchase of dolomite raw materials by eight boron chemical companies such as Dashiqiao Huaxin Boron Co., Ltd., Dashiqiao Yaohua Borax Factory, and Dashiqiao Xingpeng Borax Plant.
