Anqing Auto Parts Industry Base promoted to national level
PP Latest Device Dynamics:
Shanghai Petrochemical's M800E production line is currently running, along with the F280S0 dimerization line and the M180R trimerization unit. At Yangzi Petrochemical, Line A produces F401, Line B produces YPJ706, and the new line is manufacturing K8003. Dushanzi Petrochemical's first line is producing T30S, while the second line runs DY-ZK0640P. All resources are centrally managed under the Northwest Company, with inventory levels stable. Sales remain slow today.
Panjin Ethylene has added 460,000 tons of ethylene cracker capacity. Once the new facility is completed, total ethylene capacity will reach 620,000 tons, expected to be operational by early 2009. The downstream polymerization facilities will include 300,000 tons of HDPE and 250,000 tons of PP.
In Dalian, the new PP plant is producing T30S, while a 70,000-ton facility also produces T30S. The older 50,000-ton plant remains idle, with no immediate plans for restart. Overall sales performance is weak across the industry.
Maoming Petrochemical’s first PP line produces EPS30R, while the second line is converting to N-Z30S. Inventory is normal, and sales are steady.
Dongxing, Zhanjiang is constructing a 140,000-ton/year polypropylene plant using advanced domestic second-generation ring-loop technology. It features a double loop reactor, a granulation line, and two packaging lines. Expected to start production in September 2009.
PetroChina Jinxi Petrochemical is building a new 150,000-ton PP project, currently under construction. Production is planned for June, using gas-phase polypropylene technology supplied by ABB.
Lanzhou Petrochemical’s PP plant will shut down on May 27 and resume operations on June 26. The old plant continues to produce F401. Inventory is normal, and sales are stable.
Yanshan Petrochemical is producing polymer B4101, pipe material PPR4220, and converting trimer to S1003.
PE Latest Device Dynamics:
Jilin Petrochemical’s LLDPE plant is producing 7042, while the HDPE plant makes pipe material GC100S, with production scheduled until the end of July.
Daqing Petrochemical’s old LDPE plant is offline, while the new high-pressure plant produces 2426H. The LLDPE plant runs 7042, low-voltage A/B lines produce 5000S, and C line produces 5300E.
Guangzhou Petrochemical’s LLDPE plant experienced an unexpected shutdown due to a fault and is expected to remain offline until the end of the month. Resumption is anticipated around early July.
Shanghai Petrochemical’s 1PE first line produces Q210, second line DJ200A, 2PE Q281, and low-voltage MH602.
Yangzi Petrochemical’s HDPE A line produces 5000S, B line 5306J, C line 4803T, and LLDPE line 7042.
Maoming Petrochemical’s PE plant operates with 1# high pressure producing 951-050, 2# high pressure converting to 2426H, full density producing 7042, and high density TR144.
Yanshan Petrochemical’s new high-pressure line is converting to LD605. The old high-pressure line 1 is under repair, line 2 produces 1I2A, line 3 produces 1C7A, low voltage line 1 produces 5200B, and line 2 produces 2300XM.
PS Latest Device Dynamics:
Chevron Phillips’ PS benzene conversion unit was shut down at the beginning of June for about one month. It is expected to restart in early July, with current pricing not available.
Shanghai Secco’s PS unit has been parked since mid-May, with the upstream unit scheduled for overhaul in mid-July. Restart is expected around mid-July.
Acer Open (Shantou) maintains a stable ex-factory price with good shipment potential, though recent shipments have been weak. Inventory is low, with one line producing benzene 118 and another benzene 127, operating at 80% capacity. Maintenance is scheduled from July 5–8, lasting about 10 days.
