This is from Steve Redick: I responded to a call in an area I don't often visit. It was a full-scale fire in a double-wide mobile home located inside a large trailer park in the town of Justice, now under the jurisdiction of the Roberts Park Fire Protection District. The conditions were extremely challenging due to the freezing temperatures and severe water supply issues, which extended the duration of the response. They had to use booster tank water from two engines before finally locating a functioning hydrant several hundred feet away. As the roof had collapsed, they deployed a tower ladder to reach the fire from above, since ground-level streams couldn't penetrate the damaged structure. It was definitely a tough call on a very difficult day.
