The FDIC (Fire Department Instructors Conference) was held in two separate locations: the Indianapolis Convention Center and the Lucas Oil Stadium, located just across the street. Most of the major fire apparatus manufacturers had a presence at the stadium, including well-known brands like Pierce, EONE, Rosenbauer, KME, Sutphen, Ferrara, Seagrave, Marion, Hackney, Alexis, Fort Garry, and HME. Meanwhile, the convention center housed companies such as Spartan, Crimson, Smeal, SVI, Summit, US Tanker, Toyne, Semo, Danko, Rescue 1/PL Custom, Custom Fire Apparatus, along with Darley and Snozzle.

One of the more unique exhibits was a helicopter training prop used for fire extinguishment demonstrations, giving attendees a realistic look at how aerial firefighting could be practiced in controlled environments.
