If the pump is submerged in liquid, the gas must be discharged from the liquid surface, and the exhaust pipe should not be less than 1" (2.45 CM). Reducing the size of the exhaust pipe will limit the gas flow and reduce the pump usage rate. Note on valve lubrication:
