At 11:11 on March 15th, the new acrylonitrile absorber tower of Qilu Acrylic Plant was successfully installed. Absorption towers play an important role in the production of acrylonitrile. After the gas from the quench tower aftercooler enters the absorption tower, organic components such as acrylonitrile, acetonitrile, hydrocyanic acid and other readily soluble components are absorbed to obtain an approximately 4-6% aqueous solution containing acrylonitrile, which is then recycled. The tower is further purified and separated. The reaction waste gas containing nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and a small amount of unreacted propylene is directly discharged from the top of the absorption tower into the atmosphere. The total height of the new absorption tower is 46.75 meters, which is divided into two sections: the lower section is 24 meters and the upper section is 22.75 meters. The lifting tower is the highest lifting height since the reconstruction and expansion, and it is also the most difficult one. In this lifting work, the headquarters of the reconstruction and expansion project worked closely with the construction unit, and the on-site personnel participated in their duties, carefully organized and carefully planned, and compiled a detailed lifting plan to ensure that the absorption tower was successfully installed in place.
