This regulation does not apply to the following products:

Products controlled by the Ceramics and Glassware Regulations.

Exemption:

For accessible parts that meet all of the following requirements, the total lead content can exceed 90 mg/kg:

Lead is an essential component of the basic characteristics of the component;

No replacement parts with low lead content;

According to the EN71 part 3 test, the soluble lead content in this part does not exceed 90 mg/kg.
