The long-term vision of difficult offshore wind power construction

Offshore wind power looks beautiful, but it is difficult to build. It requires a long-term vision for industries to grow. In China and Poland, people photograph wedding photographs on the windmill. What we are more concerned about is: How far are we from the offshore wind ionization?

In the first round of domestic first-million-kilowatt offshore wind power concession bidding concluded in September, four concession projects for offshore wind farm concessions with a total capacity of 1 million kilowatts in Jiangsu Binhai, Sheyang, Dongtai and Dafeng were announced. This indicates that China's offshore wind power projects have entered the stage of commercialization and promotion through demonstration projects.

With the first round of bidding for offshore wind power, the wind power equipment manufacturing industry will launch a new market battle. Wu Feng, chairman of Goldwind Technology, said that it will closely track the development trend of offshore wind power at home and abroad. Hua Gang, Vice President of Wind Power Tao Gang told reporters that with the development of China's wind power industry, especially the launch of the offshore wind power concession bidding project, the large-scale development of wind turbines has become an inevitable trend.

Since last year, in the wind power development country, the development speed of offshore wind power has greatly surpassed the development speed of land wind power. Despite many difficulties, China’s development of offshore wind power is still at a good time. Once hesitates, both the performance design of offshore wind power equipment and marine engineering experience will widen the gap with foreign countries—especially, China’s offshore wind power. The "potential market" has already been closely watched by giants of international wind power manufacturing. At the 2009 China International Offshore Wind Power and Transmission Conference held in Shanghai in June last year, An Xincheng, president of the Danish wind power giant Vestas China, said frankly, “China has excellent offshore wind energy resources and is actively developing in China. In the process of offshore wind power, the participation of competent and experienced partners is crucial."
