Jiangling Motors Sales Corporation recently disclosed that the sales channels of Jiangling Motors will be adjusted, and three channels will be formed after the distribution.
Currently, there are two channels in the sales network of Jiangling Motors. One is the joint venture with Ford, and the other is Jiangling’s own brand channel. From the end of 2010, there will be three channels: the first is the Ford commercial vehicle channel; the second is the light truck channel; the third is the pickup truck and the new SUV channel, and the products include the Jiangling Collection and the new Yu Sheng.
In addition, Jiangling executives confirmed that at present, JMC has invested RMB 3 billion to build a new plant with a capacity of 300,000 units in Xiaolan Industrial Park, Nanchang, and the plant is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012, after which products including SUV wins will be transferred to Factory production, and then Jiangling's total production capacity will reach 500,000 vehicles.
